Belmont Reserves Versus Kenwick at Mills Park 12 May 2012 – Pregame

We’re looking forward to a big game this week after 2 good nights on the training track. With the benefit of omission of a few of our softer players from the team due to holidays, work and Josh Laker returning to Vic to be with his mummy for Mother’s Day, we are all set to take on the ex-Sunday League champions Kenwick at their home Mills Park.

We do still have numerous important players out of our squad due to work commitments, injuries to league players & direct orders by General Soreness to take it easy but we’re lucky to refresh the squad with new players on the track each week. The biggest boost are the inclusions of club stalwarts Jayson Hall (Junior), Simon Byrde (Birdie) & Steve Loiacono (Kouta) to the line-up. Adding this experience through the lines should help give us some hardness which we’ve been lacking in recent shellackings.

We currently have a percentage of 8.72, so we’ll be aiming to get this into double figures this week.
